/01Is paint protection film worth it?+
If you care about your paint, yes. PPF prevents the rock chips and stone strikes that ruin resale value. On a high-end vehicle, a single chipped hood repaint costs more than a full-front PPF install. It's the closest thing to insurance you can put on your paint.
/02How long does PPF last?+
Our films carry a 7-10 year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, and delamination. With proper care most installs look new for the life of the vehicle.
/03Does PPF protect against every scratch?+
PPF absorbs the vast majority of road impacts, gravel, sand, bug strikes, light branch contact, swirl marks from washes. Deep keyed scratches or major collisions still need traditional paint repair, but the film is sacrificial and replaceable.
/04Will I be able to see the edges of the film?+
Not on a properly installed job. We wrap edges around panels wherever possible and use software-cut patterns precisely sized to your vehicle. From a normal viewing distance the film is invisible.
/05Should I add ceramic coating over PPF?+
Yes, ceramic on top of PPF gives you the best of both. PPF takes the impacts, ceramic gives a glossier, more hydrophobic surface that's easier to wash. With our Full Front package, the ceramic top layer is currently free.
/06How do I care for my PPF?+
Treat it like paint. Hand wash with pH-neutral soap, two-bucket method, soft microfiber. Avoid automated brush washes for the first week of cure. We send aftercare instructions and answer questions for the life of the install.
